One set of refrigerant - Air con can piercing valves.
- Can tap valve is for all gas canisters including R600a gas canisters (silver color) Is is an universal bottle neck clamp style piercing valve. It fits most canisters BUT not all!
- Can/bottle tap valve for gas R134a M12x1.5 to 1/4" Male flare (green color)
- Can/bottle tap valve for gas R134a 1/2" ACME - 1/4" Male flare (gold color)
- Can/bottle tap valve for gas R12, R22, R600a M14x1.5 to 1.4" SAE male (red color)
Usage:
1. Completely run the piercing needle out of the tap CCW direction. (needle out)
2. Screw the tap onto the top of the can
3. Run the needle all the way in so the needle goes down and pierces the top of the can. (needle in) (When the needle is fully inside the can then the can is in closed state. Gas won't leave the can.)
4. Hook up with the charging hose (connect it to the 1/4" flare male end of the tap valve)
3. Open the tap valve CCW direction. (needle opens) Then you can access the refrigerant gas inside and the refrigerant is free to flow through the charging hose to the manifold or to your car AC system / fridge freezer etc..
If you haven't used all aircon gas from the canister then you can close the pierced can by closing the tap valve down CW direction.
By this set you should be able to connect your gauge manifold set to the systems listed above.
The kit is not to be sold separately.
Please note that there are thousands of refrigerant gas canister manufacturer. These cans have been made by different standards and tops. We cannot guarantee that one of these piercing valve will be compatible with your canister! We can only guarantee that they have the inner/outer threads we listed and the fit many types of refrigerant canisters. They definitely fit our R134a and R600a gas canisters we sell here in our online store.
