Mitsubishi 4G63 & 4G64 LPG forklift parts

We offer a timing rebuild kit for Mitsubishi 4G64 forklift gas engine. Many LPG gas forklifts are fitted with either 4G63 or 4G64 engines.

We made a short list of the forklifts you can find these gas engines but since many forklift manufacturer use the same engines our list is not a complete list.
There is very likely that we missed many more manufacturer but if you are sure that your engine is a 8V 4G63 or 4G64 engine then our rebuild kit will fit regardless the manufacturer.

It is also important to note that these engines have been fitted both 8 valve cylinderheads. The gasket set and rocker cover are for 8V only.

If you have a 16V 4G64 LPG engine and you need a 16V cylinder head gasket or rocker cover then you will need to contact us and send us pic of your 16V head gasket and rocker cover. Then we might be able to help. 

4G63 engines are 2000ccm

4G64 engines are 2400ccm

Base price (excluding options you may add) will include:

* Bearing set 6 bolts STD  (Opt this if you want to fit a NEW 7 bolt crank into an old engine which used to have 6 bolts crank.
* Bearing set (For 6 bolts crankshafts +0.5mm size integrated thrust washers (see image below) Includes: crankshaft bearing shell, con-rod bearings. Both in +0.5mm size if you want to regrind your old 6 bolt crankshaft)
* Bearing set (For 7 bolts crankshafts STD size with split thrust washers. Add this if you purchase new crankshaft from us. This set includes: crankshaft bearing shells, thrust washers, conrod bearings)
* Timing belt 

6 bolts & 7 bolts forklift crankshafts

Please note that earlier 4G63&64 crankshaft had only 6 bolt flywheel pattern! If you would like to add a crank to your order make 100% sure that you need the 7 bolts pattern! Mitsubishi second generation engine with 7 flywheel bolt pattern started to roll out after 1994. Prior that there are 6 flywheel bolt crankshafts. Currently we don't have 6 bolts crankshafts available. 6 and 7 bolts cranks are interchangeable but you will need to change your flywheel too. We cannot provide your with 7 bolts flywheel. Using VIN number we normally can identify parts and part numbers but this is different with forklifts. Unfortunately forklifts don't have 17 digit VIN to check therefore the safest way to avoid ordering the wrong part is to strip the engine first and see what parts are fitted to it. Q/A:

Q: Would you split the set? Can I purchase only few parts and not the whole kit?
A: Unfortunately not. We wont split our sets. You will need to purchase all parts in the set.

Q: Im not sure if I've got 8v or 16V engine. How can I make sure?
A: 16V should be stamped into your rocker cover but if you are still not sure take a pic and send it to us.

Q: My forklift is not in the list. How can I make sure that Ive got either 4G63 or 4G64 engine fitted?
A: These forklifts don't have VIN so we will need your cooperation to determine which engine you've got. Contact us by our contact form and send the model number of your forklift. When we receive it we will reply you and may ask you for more pic of the engine.

Q: Can you provide other parts for my forklift?
A: We mainly deal with 4G63 and 4G64 engines. We can source other parts. Please contact us. We may ask you for pictures to determine fitment.

Q: I don't know if I've got 6 bolt flywheel or 7 bolts. What to do?
A: You will need to strip your forklift engine to check.

Q: I need a new 6 bolt crank. What to do?
A: You can purchase 7 bolts crankshaft from us which is still going to fit your engine block but then you will need to get a 7 bolts flywheel. It can be found in Many 4G63 Mitsubishi models such as Lancer, Galant etc..
You can also find a machine shop who is able to re-grind your old 6 bolt crankshaft but then you need to tell them that you want to use it with +0.5mm crankshaft and conrod bearing shells.

Q: When I have to choose 6 bolts STD bearing set?
A: Only if you decide to convert your forklift from 6 bolt crankshaft to 7 bolts and you wish to convert your flywheel too.
