This is a brand new oil pump for various Hyundai and Kia 2.2 CRDi models. 2.2 diesel Hyundai and Kia models engine code is D4EA and D4EB and they often suffer from low oil pressure problem. 

This aftermarket 2.0 CRDi oil pump fits the following models:

Hyundai:
*Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi (MK2 - 2006 - 2012)
*Sonata 2.2 CRDi (MK5 - 2005-2010)
*Tucson 2.2 CDRi (JM 2004 - 2010)

It also fits all Hyundai 2.0 CRDi D4EA engines.

Have your oil pressure light started to flicker? That means you have low oil pressure which is a well known problem with the 2.0 CRDi engines. When there is no oil pressure your engine goes into limp mode which results to loose the power. The problem causes the low oil pressure with these Hyundai and Kia models is usually the oil pump failure or oil pump drive. The oil pump needs to be replaced.

One thing you must keep in mind. Low oil pressure in these engines caused by multiple factors.

* Oil pump provides lower oil pressure
* Oil seal between oil pump and engine block causes pressure and oil leak
* Lower seal in oil filter housing gets rigid and deformated. This seal won't hold the oil pressure!

When you change your oil pump you must change those 1+1 seals otherwise the low oil pressure problems persists. Some sellers online sell these aftermarket oil pumps without O-ring or some cheaper regular (black) rubber O-ring. Hyundai designed a specific green type seal ring which is superior to the cheaper black ones. We include a genuine Hyundai rubber ring and a conical seal in the filter housing are genuine OE Hyundai. These seals are NOT part of the oil filter!
