VW Touareg 5.0 TDI V10 camshaft kit

This is a brand new camshaft kit for Volkswagen Touareg 5.0 TDI engines with the V10 engine. Please note that there are more versions of this 5.0 TDI engine and these engines have different engine code.

We currently sell this camshaft kit for BLE and CBWA engine but you can also select AJS or BWF engine above add to cart button.

Note that these engines don't have rocker cover gasket.

VW Touareg 5.0 TDI diesel engines can be found in the R50 model. This Touareg V10 engine is basically the twin V10 version of the 2.5 Transporter engine therefore it has same problems as the 2.5 TDI variant.

These PD camshafts have higher load due to pumpe duse drive on camshaft and they are prone to wear faster than other camshafts. This results in excessive cam lobe wear even on the genuine VW camshafts. 

You may have noticed that there are other cheaper camshafts can be found online for this 5.0 TDI engine but as these camshafts have to bear more than other models' the cheap unknown brand "OE quality" variants can and will gap just in weeks! You will be required to change the camshafts and related parts all over again. We had many customers having problems with these unknown camshafts.

We offer here quality British brand of GT Automotive. They usually provide two types of camshafts for most cars. Chilled cast and billet steel. Billet steel is basically a forged material that is much durable than chilled cast.
Although both are high quality but due to the stress on cam from pumpe duse GT Automotive decided to offer only the stronger billet steel camshaft for this Touareg 5.0 TDI V10 engine. These GT billet camshafts are far superior to VW genuine cams and they will give you a peace of mind.
