Due to phase out of R404a other refrigerant with low GWP provide the same or even better performance. R404a gas becomes more expensive an less attractive to HVAC engineers.
Everyone's interest that these older refrigerants (R404a, R407C, R407A, R22, R507 etc) to be replaced.

This AC charging tool kit is suitable for R22, R404a, R502, R407a systems but please keep in mind that these refrigerants should NOT be used when you charge your system. These gases should be replaced with either R407f or R448a or R449a. Our charging gauges scaled for these substitutes.

To replace R404a you should use R448a or R449a. They are widely available in Europe and reduces of carbon emission a GWP 68% less than R404a.

With our R407f charging tool kit we provide suitable bottle/cylinder fittings/adaptors which allows you to connect your 1/4" flare hoses.
Neither of R407f, R448a or R449a is flammable refrigerant. Our gauges are also scaled for R600a gas which is a flammable. R600a is commonly used in fridges and freezers.
