Anytime you open your air conditioning system on a car (or on your fridge freezer) to do some HVAC job you allow air into the AC system. The problem with this that air in the AC line or in a refrigerator turns the refrigerant into acid and destroy your car's aircon system. It may take a while but the result will be a broken ac compressor or hose lines.

The vacuum pump will remove the oxygen from your AC system by pulling, purging the air. After 30 mins or one hour the air conditioning system should be oxygen free. Whenever you do maintenance on your automotive cooling system or your domestic refrigerator you will always need to pull the air out.

How the solenoid works if your AC pump is fitted with it?

After vacuuming you turn on the pump and the solenoid closes the line form the pump. You need to mark down the position of the vacuum gauge and wait for another 30 mins. After 30 mins if the system leaks you should see the changes in the vacuum gauge pointer. If the system leaks you need to investigate further the problem. If the vacuum gauge pointer remains at the same position after half an hour then you can be sure that your AC line is leak free and you can disconnect the aircon vacuum pump.

The vacuum pump also fitted with sight glass for minimum and maximum oil level. Vacuum pump oil is provided.

AC double gauge manifold kit:

This is our "fully loaded" air conditioning gauge manifold kit with essential fittings and adapters included.
You will receive three color marked high pressure charging hoses with the length of 70 inch. Both high and low side gauges are marked for R134a, R404A, old R22 and R410a refrigerants. It has a durable design good for HVAC job.
Spare hose inserts, valve core remover and hot and cold service connectors are part of the kit. They are for to connect automotive R134a systems. The quick connectors can manually be closed and opened.
Additional fittings are: R22 Imperial and R22 Metric fittings along with two R410a fittings.
Four different types of refrigerant can tap valve to pierce the gas canisters. All can valve have 1/4" flare male output to allow you to connect your charging hoses.
Silver type AC gas canister opener is an universal type which can be clamped onto the neck of most* refrigerant canisters. Please note that we cannot guarantee that the silver type opener will fit ALL canisters.
