New 7 bolts forged Mitsubishi Evo crankshaft. (Not re-manufactured or regrinded)
FITS:
Practically: Mitsubishi Evo 3/4/5/6/7/8 2.0T (Evo 1/2 has 6 bolts flywheel)
Theoretically: All Mitsubishi Evolution. It depends on what engine you want to build.
This is an aftermarket 4G63 / 4G63T crankshaft from Germany which means it has a stroke of 88mm.
Taiho (Japan) Main, con rod and thrust bearings are also included the kit in STD size.

(*We offer other 4G64 crankshaft (100mm stroke) and Mitsubishi 4G64 "easy swap" kit. Search in our store.) This kit comes with STD con rod and main bearings. Split thrust bearings are also included. Please make sure that you have the Mitsubishi EVO 4-8 engine block. Earlier Evo 1-3 use standard (non-split) thrust bearings. So here comes the question...
Can you purchase this crankshaft kit if you have one of the earlier Evo 1, 2 or 3?
Yes, you can but you will need to change our thrust bearings to a standard type. Furthermore... 1st gen Mitsubishi Evo (1,2,3) crankshaft differs from the 2nd generation's. Not just because they have 6 bolts flywheel pattern but because their connecting rods' big end width (therefore also the rod's pin on the crankshaft) is 2mm thicker than the 2nd gen Evo's. So if you want to use this kit in a 1st gen Evo then you will need to change the thrust bearing and the con rods as well.
Currently we don't offer this kit with the old standard thrust bearings.
Rated power is up to 400HP.
Nitrided option:
We offer high rated nitrided crankshaft wish adds more durability to the crankshaft. These crankshaft have gone through ION nitriding process. After nitriding crankshaft will generally have a 10-20µm grey compound layer.

Bearing journals can simply be polished/ground off by scotch bright or using a cloth and metal polishing paste by Autosol. This job has to be done manually by you after you received your order.
