VW T5 and Touareg 2.5 TDI PD Stretch Bolt Kit

When replacing the camshaft on your VW Transporter T5 or Touareg 2.5 TDI PD engine you may also need to replace the injector seals. During this work, the injector cap bolts, camshaft bolts and rocker arm shaft bolts must also be replaced.

The rocker arm bolts require an M10 triple-square spline socket for removal. The injector clamp bolts, camshaft cap bolts and rocker arm bolts are all stretch bolts. They must be replaced once removed because reused stretch bolts may fail or snap during engine operation.

This bolt kit includes the required new stretch bolts for camshaft replacement and injector seal replacement. All bolts are brand new and suitable for the following Volkswagen engine codes:

AXD, AXE, BAC, BLK and BLJ with the 2.5 TDI PD engine.

• 18 × camshaft cap bolts – OE numbers 038103714 and 038103714G – M6 × 54 mm
• 10 × rocker arm shaft bolts – OE number 038103714A – M8 × 90 mm
• 5 × injector cap bolts – OE number 070103385A – M6 × 58 mm
• 1 × camshaft gear bolt
